The Living Lab is where AI leaves the slide deck and enters the real world.
For one day, NJIT’s campus transforms into an interactive exhibition of AI-powered technologies, immersive experiences, and live demonstrations. Instead of sitting and listening, you’ll move, explore, experiment, and engage directly with AI systems in action.
Drop in anytime between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM and visit stations at your own pace.
What Makes the Living Lab Different?
Breakout sessions and keynotes explore ideas. The Living Lab lets you experience them.
Here, you might:
Put on a headset and step into an AI-guided immersive simulation
Watch a robot navigate, adapt, or respond in real time
See computer vision interpret the world around it
Interact with AI-powered characters or environments
Explore how AI supports engineering, design, conservation, performance, or security
Test technologies that are shaping the future of work, creativity, and decision-making
This is AI you can see, hear, touch, and try.
A Campus-Wide Experience
Living Lab stations are located across campus and hosted by NJIT departments, research labs, student organizations, and industry partners. Each station is designed to be:
Interactive
Demonstration-based
Open and accessible
Easy to drop into
You do not need to sign up. You do not need to stay for a full hour. You can visit one station or ten.
Station locations will be pinned on the event floormap in Whova as they are finalized.
